Previously known as the Comprehensive Case Management Employment Program (CCMEP) / L.Y.F.E. Program. 

Ohio Career Launch provides personalized support to help young people explore careers, build skills, and connect with services. 

Eligibility guidelines for the program

Our Career Coaches assist young adults, ages 14-24, who are identified as having barriers to employment. We assist those who:

  • Are pregnant or parenting
  • Have dropped out of high school
  • Are a current or former foster child
  • Are involved with the court system
  • Are homeless or a runaway
  • Have a disability or IEP
  • Are low-income
  • Have a minor living in the household
  • In receipt of SNAP or OWF

The Erie County Ohio Career Launch program can help with:

  • Earning your high school diploma or GED.
  • Developing leadership ability, finance management, and other life skills.
  • Connecting you to job placements, internships, mentoring, and other opportunities.
  • Post-secondary Education and training.
  • Supportive Services
